Bob Rumball offers a variety of funded and unfunded residential options to adults with an intellectual disability. Adults are supported in settings based on their abilities and goals ranging from 24 hour support to community based independent living. Residential services are offered in the Milton and Toronto regions.
Bob Rumball also offers Community Participation Supports that are located in Milton and Toronto. Adult Day Services provide meaningful experiences to participants to help build on strengths and interests, meet and socialize with peers, and focus on areas of growth within a communication rich environment. Day Services offer activities, sports and community outings; computer use; motor skill and life skill development among other activities as well as a focus on employment readiness and volunteerism for those who identify an interest in obtaining volunteer or paid employment.
Respite and Parent Relief – Our Parent Relief program provides Deaf individuals with special needs who live at home the opportunity to meet new friends and become involved in new activities in a signing environment while offering parents a break from the challenges of daily care. Subsidized by an Individual’s Passport funding, respite options can also be purchased in Toronto or Milton during the day, overnights and weekends as well as a number of activity based camps and workshops are offered throughout the year.
