10-Week FREE Program For Parents and Caregivers Supporting individuals with Dual Diagnosis aged 16+
A group designed to provide families and/or caregivers peer-support, self- care and coping strategies while providing education and valuable resources to help meet the challenges involved when supporting an individual with dual diagnosis. Sessions will include presentations from various community partners. Topics will include: Systems (DSO, Family Service Toronto), Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness and many more!
When: Wednesdays Feburary 15th to April 19th 2017 6:30-8:00pm
Where: Aptus Treatment Centre 40 Samor Road, Toronto ON – Conveniently located off of the 401 & Dufferin St *Building is wheelchair accessible

This group will aim to create a nurturing environment where participants are encouraged to engage with their senses. This group will use sensory experiences to empower awareness of self, others, and the environment. Participants will get in touch with their senses and discover new coping skills. Facilitated by Occupational Therapists: Jessica, Kristen, Sinthusha, Rana Supported by Developmental Service Workers: Chisomo & Steven
