Brantwood Community Services is recognized as a local leader in providing developmental services to transitional aged youth, adults and families throughout Brantford and Brant County.
Brantwood operates a full range of residential services that include group home living, supported independent living, intensive supports, and shared care. Additionally, we offer various respite support options, pre-employment supports, a recreation therapy centre that offers a variety of general interest and leisure programs and a seating clinic that develops and produces customized wheelchairs.
The agency strives for inclusion, accessibility and the development of positive community connections. Brantwood employs over 220 professionals and provides opportunities for over 70 local volunteers.
Being a person-centred organization is our priority and at the heart of how we personalize supports. Person-centred thinking tools are used to help us plan, organize and understand each person and to connect with communities. Using these tools helps us think more deeply and put what’s important to the person as the basis for creating plans to support people towards their dreams, goals and aspirations.
