The Around the World Cooking Experience

The Around the World Cooking Experience is a ten week cooking group that offers a fun, interactive, and supportive environment for youth, ages 18 – 21 who have an intellectual disability and wish to expand their cooking skills and cultural knowledge through learning how to cook delicious and healthy meals from different cultures.

Participants will also:

  • Increase knowledge of healthy eating and kitchen safety
  • Increase socialization and teamwork skills
  • Enhance independence
  • Develop leadership skills.

There are eighteen spaces available.

When: Wednesday evenings from 5:00 – 8:00pm, May 23 – July 25, 2018
Where: 747 Warden Avenue
Cost: Free (Transit tokens available for those who need them)
