A sister program to Dungeons & Dragons, this program is for teens and young adults with disabilities to engage in basic tabletop games and develop gaming etiquette and social skills, with Dream Weavers Collective and Level Up Gaming Canada.
Some of the games we play are snakes and ladders, cards, Bellz , connect four and more!
We add a new game each week to keep things exciting! During game play we work on building social skills (turn taking | non-verbal | communication skills | teamwork | conversation skills)
Facilitation is provided by a Special Education teacher, an occupational therapist (or instructor therapist), and a volunteer. It is designed for individuals 16 and up with developmental differences, but is open to all!
