Special Olympics Rosedale Active Start Program (Ages 2-6)

Special Olympics Ontario is proud to offer a new program for children 2-6 years of age in Toronto with an intellectual disability (ID). Active Start is a Special Olympics program aimed at children 2-6 years of age with an intellectual disability (ID). When children with an ID receive early instruction in basic motor skills and have the opportunity to experience ‘play,’ there is improvement in their physical, social and cognitive abilities.

The Active Start program will be starting on Tuesday, November 6 at 6:00pm and will continue every Tuesday thereafter unless noted by the program facilitators. Registration is still open for Active Start with limited space available.

The program facilitators are Angela Red – areid@specialolympics.ca and Rachel Borer rborer@specialolympics.ca

Registration fee is $25.00. Payment for the program can be made in the form of cash or cheque and given to the program facilitators. If you wish to preview the program beforehand, that can be arranged and we can also connect you with the facilitators for all other inquiries.
