SkateABLE North York and Brampton are now accepting registrations for winter programs beginning in January.
Our learn-to-skate program is developmentally appropriate for children of all ages with physical and developmental disabilities. We provide adaptive ice skating equipment which allows us to include children with such disabilities as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, paralysis, amputee, as well as general developmental delays, Autism, Down Syndrome, learning disabilities, and more.
As a registered charity, we rely heavily on community support in order to create awareness about the availability of the SkateABLE program.
If you would be willing to pass along the attached flyer to anyone you know who may be interested in learning to skate, we would greatly appreciate your assistance.
Our program is held once per week at the Canlan Sport Centre – York University on Saturdays from 5:30 to 6:30 pm and 6:30-7:30 pm, and at South Fletcher arena in Brampton on Mondays from 5:15-6:05 pm.
We have limited spaces available and we recommend families register as soon as possible.
