ConnectABILITY

Research Study to Help Benefit Caregivers (Brock University)

Do you want to learn how to use self-management strategies to help decrease psychological distress (i.e., stress, anxiety) while experiencing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)?

We are conducting a study with parents of children with neurodevelopmental disorders.

This study will offer group-based Acceptance and Commitment Training (or ACT) to support caregivers of children of any age. Previous research has shown that ACT helps caregivers to manage their personal daily challenges and improve quality of life. This brief video is a nice overview of how ACT can help: https://www.surreyplace.ca/caring-for-the-caregiver-through-act/
