The Toronto Disability Pride March is back for 2021! We will be gathering virtually this year with speakers and artists. This year we are focusing on the struggles and resistance of indigenous disabled people.
It was a difficult decision to keep the march virtual this year. This was a practical decision, but also for equity and safety. We look forward to marching in person next year!
This is also why we must continue to be heard and gather in solidarity. Together we raise our voices not just for ourselves, but for the voices among us that have already silenced by oppression, and for the voices that keep us strong even when they are no longer with us.
We’re still sorting out the details, but we have confirmed ASL this year. We look forward to seeing you virtually on Saturday September 18th at 1:00 PM.
