Laughter yoga is an intentional exercise program. It is not doing yoga and laughing. It is not about jokes or comedy. Laughter yoga is laughing exercises combined with deep diaphramatic breathing and gentle movements.
The idea is to get us out of stress and into joy. When we laugh we feel good.
Come experience the magic of laughing for the health of it.
This program is open to young adults 16+ with Down Syndrome.
My goal is to help this community connect on a deeper level, feel better and boost their immunity while having some fun.
We will do some deep breathing, laughing exercises and then there will be time for Q&A. I want to create a regular laughter wellness program and am seeking input.
