Accessibility Statement

ConnectABILITY strives towards creating an online environment that is inclusive and accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability. We are continually improving the user experience for all and applying the relevant accessibility standards, while acknowledging that accessibility is an evolving target and there is always room for improvement.

As our guide across the site we use the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. ConnectABILITY is partially conformant with WCAG 2.0 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. 

Exceptions

Content that is not conformant with WCAG 2.0 level AA includes material that was developed by other organizations and shared on ConnectABILITY, such as informative PDF documents and images.

Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology

ConnectABILITY is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Input and output devices, such as keyboard navigation and screen readers.

ConnectABILITY is not compatible with:

  • Internet Explorer, and browsers older than 3 major versions or Mobile operating systems older than 5 years.
