Grief and Loss
- Grief and Loss Support Group is on Tuesdays in February – March 2025. It is for individuals who are dealing with death of a loved one, friend, caregiver, community member, or pet in the past years. During the sessions, participants will gain awareness, learn coping tools/strategies, and improve resilience in an independent living and non-judgemental environment. Myth: grief and loss group is for people crying together. Truth: our Grief and Loss Support Group supports people to re-define the meaning of life and improve resilience.
Healthy Brain
- Healthy Brain is a monthly program. Participants learn and discuss essential information regarding keeping brain health / preventing memory loss. Practical brain stimulation / hands on activities are part of each session of this program.
Singalong
- Singalong workshops is on Fridays from January to March 2025. Singing releases endorphins, gives lungs a workout, improves aerobic capacity and releases muscle tension. Singing together fosters social connectedness and belonging. In the workshops, our instructor plays a digital piano and sing with participants. Participants don’t have to be great singers. It is for everyone!
All 3 programs are free of cost and in person at 2398 Yonge St. Toronto.
