Respecting Rights is a project at ARCH Disability Law Centre led by persons who identify as having an intellectual or developmental disability. In these meetings, we provide updates on ARCH and Respecting Rights work, and lead discussions on topics that are important to the community.
Please join us on Friday, March 20th at 2:00 PM on Zoom for our next self-advocates meeting. We will be joined by a lawyer and two law students from ARCH Disability Law Centre, who will present on decision-making rights – what they are and why they matter for people with an intellectual or developmental disability. We are also excited to try something new at this meeting – a jeopardy-style trivia game!
To register, please email Jessica Field at jessica.field@arch.clcj.ca
Please note:
These meetings are led by self-advocates, for self-advocates. Support persons are welcome to attend if they are assisting someone to participate in the meeting.
