Skills and Topics Covered
Participants build practical, workplace‑ready skills, including:
- Personal management
- Communication
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Problem solving
- Success on the job
These skills help participants feel more confident and prepared for real‑world work settings.
Additional Program Features
Participants also benefit from:
- A Tech4Good presentation during Week 3
- Virtual workplace tours to explore different job environments
- A possible in‑person workplace site visit
- A small in‑person class size of approximately 12 to 15 participants, allowing for personalized support
Who Can Participate
Individuals who are currently supported by another Employment Ontario service provider are welcome to attend. There is no conflict of service, and participants can remain connected to their existing supports.
How This Program Helps
Participants gain confidence, strengthen essential soft skills, and take positive steps toward employment or volunteer opportunities.
They receive structured learning, encouragement, and guidance while continuing support from their current service provider.
