ART ON THE BRAIN: Boxing In, Breaking Out, Becoming Beautiful

This exhibition brings together artists living with the effects of brain injury to share deeply personal and powerful work exploring grief, trauma, resilience, recovery, and the ongoing process of rebuilding identity through creativity.

The exhibition is organized around three themes:

  • Boxing In – reflecting the physical, cognitive, and social barriers that can follow brain injury
  • Breaking Out – highlighting adaptation, creativity, and new ways of thinking and making
  • Becoming Beautiful – celebrating growth, transformation, and meaning found through change

We hope the exhibition offers space for reflection, recognition, and connection.
