Usher/Audience Services Employment Training Program

Registration is now open for our Fall cohorts of Cue the Crew!

Cue the Crew is a theatre usher and audience services training program for adults with developmental disabilities and autism who are interested in pursuing front-facing, customer-focused employment. The program builds job readiness, confidence, and employment-centred social skills. Alongside in-class training, participants will have job-shadowing opportunities with experienced ushers and front-of-house professionals at the Miles Nadal JCC’s own Al Green Theatre.

New this season: Cue the Crew participants will visit the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre on Sunday, October 25th, for a guided theatre tour, a conversation with an experienced Mirvish usher, and a performance of Hell’s Kitchen.

We’re running two concurrent sessions this Fall to offer more scheduling options:

  • Cohort 1 – Saturdays, October 10–November 28 (11:30 am–1:00 pm) — Register here
  • Cohort 2 – Mondays, October 19–December 7 (6:30–8:00 pm) — Register here
