Respecting Rights is a project at ARCH Disability Law Centre led by adults labelled with an intellectual or developmental disabilities. Every three months, we host self-advocate meetings for adults with intellectual disabilities from across Ontario to connect, learn about our work and learn about their legal rights.
Friday, September 18th at 2:00 pm, we are hosting a virtual community connection event with other self-advocacy groups across Ontario. Each group will share who they are, what they do, and how they promote advocacy and inclusion in their communities. We would appreciate if you could share this opportunity with your networks and anyone who may be interested in joining.
For more information or to receive the zoom link, please email Jessica at jessica.field@arch.clcj.ca
Please note: These meetings are for self-advocates. Support persons and family members are welcome to attend when supporting someone to participate.
