I just received a shocking telephone call from the instructor at my sons program, informing me that because of priorities of other clients, my son can only attend the program on Thursdays and Fridays.

My son has been coming to the program for 10 years and I am deeply worried that the loss of structure will have a huge impact on him as well as the rest of the family. He needs the supports that this program offers him, and that means 50% of it would be gone. The program helps him to function well and without it am worried he will regress. I work full time and he cannot be alone at home all day. He has been on other waiting lists for years.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so could you please let me know how you came to a solution.
