Hello Everyone!

My husband was issued a warning by his work recently for taking time off earlier this year when our child was ill. This has led him to talking to HR and finding out otherwise about the Family Caregiver Leave that nobody in that department seems to understand. I was told someone here might be able to help. I know his HR department is looking into the policy as well, but I know that HR departments look into what saves their own company the most money in the end.

It differs from Family Medical Leave and other types of leave, but there is no application form easily available online. If you have any experience or other info on how this works and how to apply for it, we’d very much appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
