Looking for another family to work with for housing for our daughter, Emily.

Timeline: 1-2 years.
Type of housing: accessible, barrier free, rental apartment – 2 bedroom/2bath (one must be shower only)
Location: Toronto, preferably centre, south, and/or west.
Must be a female roommate. No pets please. Non-smoker only.

About Emily: She is a 39 yr old woman. She has a happy disposition and gets along well with others. She is looking forward to living with a roommate and having her own place.

She is developmentally delayed and will require daily support relating to money management, scheduling, transportation and food purchasing and preparation. If the roommate requires support, some of those costs may be shared. (to be determined) Initially, her parents will provide support as needed for her.

Emily likes; watching TV, listening to music, playing cards, some boardgames, karaoke and bingo. She loves to swim. She likes to do computer work. She loves spending time with family and friends.

Her must haves for a roommate according to Emily: “honest”, “respectful”, “polite”, “kind” and she hopes they have some things in common.
