ISO: A mentor/roommate to share a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with an adult male on the ASD Spectrum.

Location: Lawrence and Mt. Pleasant area, 5-minute walk to TTC.

Space: 2 bedrooms, 1 bath furnished basement apartment in a triplex. Lots of light, A/C, parking, laundry.

Rent: 10 hours a week of mentorship for a greatly reduced rent.

About: I am a 33-year-old young man with some experience living on my own. I have autism spectrum disorder. I love going for walks, watching tv and movies. I compete as a swimmer in the Ontario Special Olympics and was awarded many medals in both the Provincial and National games. I also work out with a personal trainer once a week. I have a part-time job at Pizza Nova but am looking to fill my week with more work. I spend two days a week at a nearby centre for autistic adults. I am completely independent on the TTC. I have a group of friends that I socialize with frequently. I can prepare my own meals but need help planning my meals and grocery shopping. Fortunately, my parents live close by and can help me anytime I need it.

I am looking for a roommate that is kind, compassionate, and understanding. This person needs to be patient and even-tempered and willing to teach.
