I am pursuing my life purpose to advocate for people with intellectual disabilities to help them create a life of meaning and help parents survive and thrive. This includes advocacy for proper job training and employment for those capable of working. I am the mother of an adult daughter with mild intellectual disability - an oxymoron because there is nothing mild about her disability. I am also a three-time cancer warrior.
