We offer affordable private online coding classes to children ages 7 and up. We have classes for beginners as well as classes for children with previous coding experience – there is something for everyone!
All our classes are highly personalized to suit the interests of your child. Our 1 on 1 tutoring allows our trained tutors to work closely with your child to support their diverse learning needs.
Some of the classes we offer include:
- Scratch Beginners (A block-based language developed by MIT, a great class for beginners)
- Scratch Advanced
- Web Development (Learn how to code your very own website)
- Python (Learn a text-based language while playing games!)
- Java (Dive deep into more advanced coding concepts)
- AI & Machine Learning (A beginner-friendly introduction to AI)
- Music & Coding (An interdisciplinary class that has never been done before – explore what happens when we unite music and coding together!)
Our classes are offered online in a super fun and engaging way to capture the attention of your child. We also offer free trials to every new student to make sure our classes are the right fit for your child!
This program is suitable for you if you:
- Have some experience using a computer/laptop and the keyboard
- Basic reading and rudimentary math skills
- Able to understand and follow instructions
- Are independent in most self-care skills
You will need a computer or laptop with a working camera and microphone, as well as, a stable internet connection.
This program is not suitable for you if you:
- Require one to one assistance for most daily activities
- Are not independently mobile
- Have significant behavior issues
- Unable to use a computer/laptop
Ratios: Students will receive 1 on 1 private instruction in all of our classes. This is to ensure that your child is fully supported and can learn at their own comfortable pace.

Cost: starting at $160 for 5 weeks
Our workshops can also be covered with Autism Funding in BC. To make our workshops accessible for all families, we have a 30% discount for all neurodiverse students and students with learning differences.

The C.O.D.E. Initiative
The C.O.D.E. Initiative is a registered non-profit that has provided affordable and inclusive coding and STEM learning opportunities to empower neurodiverse children over the past 4 years. We are building supportive learning environments for youth to build confidence in their own abilities and promoting neurodiversity in the tech industry.
C.O.D.E. stands for Creating Opportunities, and Defining Education. As coding is becoming the language of the digital world and an invaluable skill to have, The C.O.D.E. Initiative is here to extend these opportunities to neurodiverse children and teach it in a fun and engaging way!
