ACCEPTING NEW PARTICIPANTS
Our work readiness program prepares and teaches participants practical job readiness skills and skills for successfully navigating the workplace and self-employment.
Participants will develop the following skills:
- Communication
- Problem- solving
- Teamwork
- Active listening
- Leadership
- Adaptability
- Conflict resolution
- Financial management
Participants will have opportunities to volunteer and train in the following areas:
- Custodial & Cleaning
- Laundry
- Retail
- Office Skills
- Computer Skills
- Restaurant Skills
- Restaurant Kitchen
- Warehouse
- Tools
This program is suitable for you if you:
-Are an individual 18 + who faces challenges in learning and communication, individuals with Autism, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, or any other neurodevelopmental conditions
-Want to gain the skills needed to be employed, start a business or consistently volunteer
– Can regulate their emotions without becoming aggressive towards themselves or others
– Feels comfortable and can participate in community outings within a group ratio of 1 staff, 5 participants
This program is not suitable for you if you;
- Are unable to regulate your emotions and become aggressive when upset
- Need assistance in going to the bathroom
- Have no desire to participate in daily outings/excursions or cannot participate in on-site training opportunities regularly.
Ratios: 1:5 (You can come with your own 1:1 worker)

Program hours: 9:00am – 3:30pm
Cost: $105/ per day
Work Experience 1:1 support: Additional $35/per hour (Family determines the number of work experience hours/week)
Enrollment: Enroll in 12-week sessions
Part-time (min 2 days) and full-time spots are available.
