New Haven offers a variety of programs and services to support young adults with autism. There are both full time and part-time options available, as well as a variety of staff to student ratios. Programs include centre-based, home-based and community-based options. All programs utilize the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis and are implemented by Registered Behaviour Technicians and are overseen by Board Certified Behaviour Analysts on a daily basis. New Haven also provides consultative services, as well as parent training, and works with individuals and their families to strengthen core skills to promote independence at home and in the community.
Specific programs include:
- ABA Intensive Treatment
-this treatment program offers comprehensive and individualized programming across a wide range of curricular areas with an intensive focus on adaptive daily living skills, self-regulation, and social skills.
-this program is delivered in ratios of either 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1
- Community Access and Participation (CAP)
-This program offers day programming, community, residential and workplace preparation services to build self-sufficiency in young adults. Goals are selected based on individual skill levels, interest and lifestyle
-this program is delivered in a 1:1 ratio
- Community Consultation and Parent training
-This program works with families to strengthen the skills of their children as they grow into adulthood. Using a mediator model, goals are targeted to meet the individual needs of the client and their families
-this program is offered part-time and requires a 40-hour minimum contract

New Haven Learning Centre
New Haven is a non-profit treatment and education centre for children, youth and young adults with autism and other related disorders. New Haven seeks to maximize the development of individuals with autism, and related disorders, by using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) as a primary method for improving the quality of life for students and their families.
