Camelot Centre is a private day program, fee for service, for adults with a developmental disability over the age of 20, with a moderate to high level of independence. For families/caregivers wanting a structured, full, or part-time day program in a learning environment. Our Mission is to offer a creative, caring, and supportive environment where social inclusion, individual choice, rights, and independence are prioritized in a safe and secure setting. Small group sizes; daily physical recreation and life skills, community outings and special events celebrations. We are compliant with MCCSS Quality Assurance Measures and fully insured with professional staff in a 3:1 ratio.

This program is suitable for you if you:

  • Moderate to high independence
  • Are independent in most self-care skills
  • Can travel independently
  • Like music, dance, outdoor activities, art and cooking
  • Like a structured program

This program is not suitable for you if you:

  • Require one to one assistance for most daily activities
  • Are not independently mobile
  • Have significant behaviour issues
  • Cannot follow instructions

RATIOS: 1 staff to 3 clients

Languages supported: English

Program Hours: 8:30 – 3:30 Monday to Friday

Dates: Program operates year round with 2-week closure at Christmas; 2-week closure at the end of August and 1-week closure in 1st week of July
