Hi All

Community Living Ontario presented to the Select Committee this week. go to their website http://www.communitylivingontario.ca and read their presentation. They have also developed a kit for families to use to write your stories to either send to the committee or to present. It is now families turn to make their voices heard. Have your kids write their story about how their life is or draw a picture about how their life is affected by the governments lack of support. Have their siblings write how their life has been affected. As a parent describe how hard it has been, not because of the disability, but because the system has failed them.
Imagine how the government would stand up and take notice if 30,000 (or more) letters and presentations came into the committee!
