Roommate wanted for mid-thirties female to share a lovely, large 2- bedroom, 2-bathroom centrally air-conditioned (included in the rent) apartment at St. Clair Avenue and Yonge Street.

Must be a non-smoker, independent no pets, and able to share in cleaning and maintaining a great living space.
Rent is $1163.00 per month PLUS electricity (about $30 per month ) and Internet (Tek Savvy about $36 per month).

The building is well maintained with modern laundry equipment in the basement and is very close to supermarkets and many other popular retail businesses. The St. Clair streetcar is 2 minutes away at the end of the street and the Yonge subway (St. Clair station ) is only 1 block away.

The apartment is on third floor facing east for the morning sun with a nice size balcony.

An added advantage is the superintendent is only 2 doors away on the same floor.

I would like to have a roommate who will socialize with me on occasion, perhaps cook some meals together, or go for a walk in the neighbourhood, attend an entertainment event or just have a coffee or Italian soda.

I work full-time, go downhill skiing with ADDS in the winter and enjoy therapeutic horseback riding. My family helps me if I have any problems that I can’t manage, but I am independent regarding grocery shopping, laundry and bill-paying.

I am getting some help from a Community Living worker to improve my cooking and organization skills, which lately has been mainly by phone.

I am generally an easygoing, happy person who likes people.
