    Active Start

    Program start date: October 21, 2017. Program will run every Saturday*. Time: 10:00AM – 11:00AM.

    Program will run for for 12 sessions. Price $120.00 (HST included)

    *Priority: Active participation for fun, development of physical literacy

    *Age: 2-6 years old
    *Objective: Develop play skills through movement and daily physical activity

    *Skills: Walking, running, jumping & balancing, throwing, catching, kicking, striking etc.

    FUNdamentals of Sport

    Program start date: October 21, 2017. Program will run every Saturday*. Time: 11:00AM – 12:00PM.

    Program will run for for 12 sessions. Price $120.00 (HST included)

    *Priority: Development of Fundamental Movement Skills
    *Age:7-12 years old
    *Objective: Physical Literacy
    *Skills: Basic Sport Movement Skills, ie. Running, kicking, jumping, throwing, catching, striking, etc.

    The programs will be run by an elementary school teacher who completed an additional qualification in special education, and has been trained by Special Olympics Canada to developing instruct foundational skills for movement. She is eager to work alongside parents, caregivers, and guardians to build positive movement experiences through the Active Start and FUNdamentals program.

    * No classes on School Breaks and Civic Holidays.

    *Parent/guardian participation required for this program!

    *SSAH Funding can be used for this program*
