I wrote a great long reply, and connectability lost it.
Suffice it to say, at this point that I appreciate your ideas and support. Thank you for taking the time to respond. ☺My daughter is almost 21, and has never taken one.
I keep a list of compounding pharmacies handy, in case she is ever prescribed a pill.
They can prepare pretty much any medication if patch or liquid form.We are still practicing swallowing tic-tacs on occasion, but she’s super resistant, and usually will not even try.
So I’m pretty sure that if she’s sick, and needs a pill, she won’t take it.Not sure where you are located, but Google your location and compounding pharmacy.
Talk to the pharmacist, they are very helpful. Thanks, I’ll have a look at that. ☺
It appears that Parks & Rec do not offer any full day programs, and I am not able to drive her around in the middle of the day from place to place.
Thanks for the suggestion, but it’s not a practical solution for our family.Thank you.
She’s registered with DSO, receives ODSP, but ODSP is but a drop in the bucket of that $24,000 I need to keep her occupied 5 days a week, and she needs to be learning useful skills that she can apply towards a possible job one day.I have not seen any free or funded 5 day programs.
I shall revisit Parks & Rec.Thanks again.
Yonge-Eglinton area.
Scarborough is far for me. Are these free? 5 days a week?
Funded spots are only available through DSO, which has openly told me, and many other parents, on information nights that MOST people do not get funding.
