Brighton Launch Adult Program

40 Wynford Drive, Toronto, Ontario

Brighton Launch Adult Program is a year-round program that provides a comprehensive, all-inclusive curriculum focussing on job preparation training, skills for independent living, facilitation of social skills and friendships, development of recreation & leisure pursuits and increasing functional abilities in all areas. We offer both Full-time and Part-time programs which run from September through the end of May, as well as optional Summer Sessions that run June through August.

Rather than a series of stand-alone courses, our ‘one-stop-shopping’ integrated program approach ensures that key goals are being addressed in a focussed, consistent and synchronised manner across the curriculum, with experienced coach/facilitators who know the young adult very well. Brighton Launch is not a time-limited program. You can enrol for one year or several; you can remain connected to Launch in various ways throughout your life and career, returning for career assistance or job-training as needed, or participating in social groups.

Our adult centre, located at 40 Wynford Drive, serves as a hub or home base for students in the program – when they are not out in the community or at supported work placements, they will use it as a base for training seminars, life skills programs, office work experience and hobby and social groups.

Our Managing Director is Mr. Amberley Henry, who brings fifteen years of experience working with young people and adults with challenges. Most recently he has been the Director, Transition Programs at Brighton School.

Brighton Launch is committed to providing an integrated and coordinated experience for young adults that leads to choices and opportunities, and a productive, satisfying adult life.
