I am looking for a support worker for my brother. I tried Respite Services but I have not had much luck with the individuals they referred to me. If anyone knows of anyone who would like to work as a Support Worker (Saturdays), please contact me.

Centennial College has a course on physiotherapy. Contact them and see if they would post an ad for a job.

I asked myself this same question a few months ago when I needed a support worker who actually understood mobility issues instead of just offering basic assistance. What helped me was looking for someone with both hands-on experience and a solid clinical background, and I eventually found that mixing community care listings with clinics made a difference. In my case, I reached out to a few local physiotherapy teams, and somewhere in the middle of that search I came across physiotherapy Scarborough – their approach to education and long-term wellness gave me a clearer picture of what a support worker with physio skills should actually provide. I learned to ask about training, treatment philosophy, and how they coordinate care across different needs. It made the process much easier and helped me choose someone who could truly support my recovery.
